This formula contains a unique blend of quercetin, vitamin C and bromelain.
Quercetin is a bioflavonoid with excellent antioxidant activity. And magnesium supports the quercetin activity.
Bromelain, meanwhile, is a proteolytic enzyme, meaning it breaks down proteins, derived from pineapple that is active and stable at the acidic levels found in the stomach.
Quercetin Antioxidant Activity
Quercetin's antioxidant properties help protect your gastrointestinal tract by helping to
- Stop the oxidation of lipids, or fats, which involves an accumulation of fats that can damage your organs due to a deficiency of enzymes that break down fats to produce energy
- Stop the depletion of glutathione, which helps protect metabolic activity and gastrointestinal tract cellular structure from free radical damage
- Increase mucus secretion from gastric cells, which provides a protective buffer from the low pH of the stomach contents
- Reduce the immune response to allergens
So, quercetin helps protect against gastric lesions that allow highly antigenic proteins, antigenic compounds, and/or infective agents from passing into your body.
Antigens stimulate the production of antibodies. And your immune system will try to destroy antigens it recognizes as a foreign and potentially harmful invader.
Quercetin also works to stop the release of components of the allergic response.
Meanwhile Bromelain helps to stop allergens from crossing the gastrointestinal tract.
It helps break down large protein complexes. This reduces the chances that these complexes will leave your stomach untouched or in large fractions retaining their antigenic form and pass through gastric lesions, inducing an allergenic response.

Adults: As a dietary supplement, adults take 1 capsule twice daily or as recommended by a healthcare professional.
