Kelp from Oregon’s Wild Harvest is an herbal supplement that contains iodine for support of a healthy thyroid gland, vitamins and minerals to support immune system health and a normal metabolic rate. Also commonly referred to as seaweed or Ascophyllum nodosum, the kelp used in this blend is harvested from the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Nova Scotia and tested for contaminants, heavy metals, and radiation.

The thyroid is an endocrine gland found at the front of the neck below the Adam’s apple that produces the hormone important in metabolic function, protein synthesis, bone development, and neural maturation, which is the process of cellular development of a healthy nervous system and brain.
